Downtown Sonora is filled with parks, Coffill park, courthouse park, prospector park and woods creek park (formerly Rotary Park) to name a few. There is also plenty of water in town both Coffill park and woods creek park have streams running through them. The city is also progressive in their planning, the city of Sonora recently received an award from The League of California Cities. As with all small towns, Sonora has its' share of local color. Wimpy is a man many of you know already, maybe it's time to read more and find out what you've been missing by not stopping to talk to him.
